Pumpkin Carving Night
at Lake Hills School

A week before Halloween, many students at Lake Hills gathered at school for a night of pumpkin carving. Nic and Jeffrey really "got into" their pumpkins and eventually wired them for DC switched lighting. Their parents enjoyed watching their creative efforts and enjoyed cider and donuts at the school.

Ashley got some help from her mother at first, but proceeded to clean out the inside and went for the "spectacle look" on her bright pumpkin. Her father enjoyed watching, too, as she pulled out all the pumpkin seeds. They didn't go to waste and were bagged for later baking at home.

Shelby visited our classroom to help her brother carve, but she enjoyed creating her own design, too. Sammy and her entire family also joined us for a great night of fun. It didn't take her long to get down to business carving a masterpiece. What a wonderful night it was!
