Our class is proud to be a part of Grand Haven Area Public Schools. We have 21 fourth and fifth grade students this year. Classes at Lake Hills Elementary School begin at 8:55 AM and end at 3:50 PM. We are located in the dunes along the shores of Lake Michigan.

We have a busy schedule which includes reading, writing, mathematics, science, health, social studies, art, music, media skills, and physical education. We enjoy the times we spend in our media center computer lab. Our class room is also equipped with five networked computers.

Mr. Chittenden is our teacher. He is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a master's degree in elementary education. He enjoys musical theatre, playing piano, computers, and working on his cabin. His wife teaches third grade at McLaughlin School in Muskegon. He has a son Jeffrey, age 13, who attends Spring Lake Middle School. His daughter, Shelby, age 11, is a sixth grade student at White Pines Middle School this year.
