We have our production t-shirts available with the play logo on the front and the names of the entire cast on the back. Shirts need to be ordered by this Friday, May 4, however. Cost is only $10.

We will be producing a DVD of the class play this year. Tim and Christina Scrapino will be working on location with us on Friday, May 18, to begin the filming. Order forms were recently sent home. Cost is only $15 per DVD.

The play dates are set—May 15, 16,17. We will offer 6 afternoon performances on each day and remain after school on Thursday, May 17, for a movie and dinner before we present our final 6:30 performance. The 2:30 and 6:30 performances on Thursday are open to the public. Please mark your calendars NOW for these performance dates.

HELP WITH FOOD FOR THE CAST
On Thursday, May 17, the class will remain at school throughout the afternoon in preparation for our final performance at 6:30. Jodie LaVercombe (844-5558) is coordinating the dinner plans and people to donate liters of soda and desserts.

ARE YOU SMARTER
Our class is hosting “Are You Smarter Than a (Grand Haven) Fifth Grader?” on Friday, May 4. Our guests range in age from 23 to 73 and will include Chris Houghtaling (school board), Bob DeVries (legislative assistant), Joyce Pellegrom (retired teacher), Mark Brooky (GH Tribune), and Nicole Manthei (nursing student). Representing our class in the “competition” will be Dalton Tuggle, Miranda Petersen, Stuarte Velarde, Jake Russell, and Connor Rood.

CLASS VISITS FIELD STATION
Our class will be visiting the Campbell Field Station on Friday, May 11. This is a great opportunity for students to extend their science knowledge of ecosystems into the real world. If you would like to chaperone this trip, please contact or email Mr. Chittenden as soon as possible.
