SPRING NEWS

TIME JOURNEY PRODUCTION
The play dates are set—May 15, 16,17. We will offer 6 afternoon performances during the run and remain after school on Thursday, May 17, for a movie and dinner before we present an evening performance. Please mark your calendars NOW for these performance dates. In addition, some students will need to reserve Friday evening, May 18, to participate in the “on location” filming in downtown Grand Haven. More details about the entire production will be released after spring break.

Mrs. Tuggle and Mrs. Petersen made pancakes and sausage this morning in recognition of our best class spirit award.

STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES
Students will continue to lead their spring conferences on Wednesday, March 28, and Thursday, March 29. If you are unsure of your scheduled appointment, please call the school office.

MUSEUM FIELD TRIP
What a great field trip. Special thanks to our adult chaperones: Jackie Russell, Chantelle Dones, David Reck, Doreen Petersen, Shelley Cannon, Sharon Burnside, Christina Scarpino, Suzi Velarde, and Mark Myaard.

Mark Myaard completed his student teaching experience today. We will miss his assistance, but look forward to him returning for our class play. Miranda, Drew, Blake, and McKenna comprise the Geek Squad in our production, Time Journey.

ART AWARDS
Congratulations to the following students who will be recognized at a reception on Wednesday, April 11, for their contribution in the Elementary Art Exhibit at the Grand Haven Area Arts Council Building: Michael Pulaski, Stuart Velarde, Dalton Tuggle, Aliyah McLemore, Blake Dones, Sophia Baker, and Jacob Russell.

LEARNING EXPO COMING
We will present several scenes from our class play during the Lake Hills Learning Expo on Thursday evening, April 19, from 6:00 to 8:00. Other classrooms will showcase a variety of learning demonstrations throughout the evening. Be sure to mark this date on your calendar.
